Default Little clip of my Frontier running through the gears

Hey guys, sorry this is off subject, since this is a Colorado forum, but didn't think you guys would mine me posting up a little clip of my truck I just made. Put some 4.11's in recently and this is the first time I had a chance to get on it since they were broken in.
Spun way too bad out of the hole. And I actually didn't even have it floored until about 30mph. I gotta work on my hole shot pretty bad.
Anyway, this was a little try out run before next weekends drag strip run. I and cdrgreysport are planing to go to HRP dragstrip and hopefully lineup together for a few runs. Were both hoping to break into the 13's this time. Not sure if i can do it in this hot Houston weather, but cdr I think will make it for sure. We'll find out how we do next friday.

Amazing how steady you kept the camera.

Looking forward to Fridays runs. Good luck.

It was on a mount, but I had to modify it to see all the gauges, so it had a fair amount of movement at the begining. Plus my camera doesn't have image stabilization which didn't help.

Very Nice! Sounds great for a V6. What RPM difference have you noticed at hi-way speeds? I had my 01 5.3L Z71 Silverado up to 132 on GPS, that is all she had, but I was at about 6,000 feet elevation near Ely Nevada, so I'm guessing I could have hit 140 closer to sea level. I was at 4600RPM in 4th at that speed.

Is this the highest speed you have hit with your truck?

Well the gears brought me up from about 1900rpms to 2250rpms at 60mph. I also turn about 2450rpms at 70mph now, which I don't think is too bad. On that clip I was about 6k in 5th gear. Taking it to about 6600rpms, (limiter is at 7K, but I usually shift 65-6600rpms) it calculates to about 145mph. I figure that would be pretty close to my top end. I still have 6th gear, but don't know if I have the HP or aerodynamics to go any higher in that gear. 130mph is as fast as I've gone so far. Done it a couple times. My tires are only H rated, or 130mph, so I don't really want to push it further than that. My truck sits higher than a ZQ8 Colorado, so the wind starts dragging me down pretty bad after 120mph or so.
